  • Publication number: 20240274124
Abstract: Methods and systems for enhanced peer-to-peer voice conversation are disclosed. According to an implementation, a first device worn by a first user may detect a voice signal in an environment. The voice signal may be associated with a second user. The first device may initiate a request for establishing a communication channel between the first device and a second device worn by the second user. Upon receiving an acknowledging signal from the second device, the first device may establish the communication channel between the first device and the second device though a Bluetooth connection, a Wi-Fi connection, a 5G connection, etc. The first device may receive a subsequent voice signal on the communication channel. The first device may amplify a strength of the subsequent voice signal on certain frequencies; perform noise cancellation in the subsequent voice signal; and play the subsequent voice signal to the first user.

  • Patent number: 11924669
Abstract: A slice manager associated with a network access point of a telecommunication network can manage combinations of network slices and bandwidth parts for user equipment (UE). The bandwidth parts can have independently set numerologies, such as subcarrier spacing values. The UE can be configured to use one or more active bandwidth parts at a time, such that the slice manager can instruct the UE to use multiple active bandwidth parts simultaneously with respect to the same network slice or multiple network slices.

  • Publication number: 20230336949
Abstract: Systems and methods for registering a location tracking device affixed to an item or other merchandise with a cellular or mobile network provider associated with the purchaser are described herein. In some cases, user equipment in physical proximity to the location tracking device may establish a connection with the location tracking device to facilitate the registration process between the network provider and the location tracking device. Once the registration is complete, the location tracking device may establish a direct connection with the cellular or mobile network of the network provider such that the network provider is able to monitor the location of the location tracking device.

  • Publication number: 20220086636
Abstract: A wireless communication system can authenticate a base station based on a validity of a certificate provided by the base station to a mobile device. The certificate can be provided prior to an attach procedure. The mobile device can compare a public key in the certificate to a private key stored on the mobile device. The mobile device can control an attach procedure associated with the mobile device based at least in part on the validity of the certificate.
