Publication number: 20240094741Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for automated following behind a lead vehicle. The lead vehicle navigates a path from a starting point to a destination. The lead vehicle and the following vehicle are connected via V2V communication, allowing one or more following vehicles to detect the path taken by the lead vehicle. A computerized control system on the following vehicle (a Follow-the-Leader, or FTL, system) allows the following vehicle to mimic the behavior of the lead vehicle, with the FTL system controlling steering to guide the following vehicle along the path previously navigated by the lead vehicle. In some embodiments, the lead vehicle and following vehicle may both use Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) position coordinates. In some embodiments, the following vehicle may also have a system of sensors to maintain a gap between the following and lead vehicles.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Peloton Technology, Inc.Inventors: Shad Laws, Joshua Switkes, Art Gavrysh, Marc Tange, Mark Herbert, Colleen Twitty, Dean Hogle, Andrew Tamoney, Eric Monsler, Carlos Rosario, Oliver Bayley, Richard Pallo, Louis Donayre, Laurenz Laubinger, Brian Smartt, Joyce Tam, Brian Silverman, Tabitha Jarvis, Murad Bharwani, Steven Erlein, Austin Schuh, Mark Luckevich

Publication number: 20230345606Abstract: A load control system may be configured using a graphical user interface software. The graphical user interface software may display a first icon and a second icon. The first icon may represent a first electrical device and the second icon may represent a second electrical device. The first icon and the second icon may represent the relative location of the first electrical device and the second electrical device within a load control environment. The graphical user interface software may display a line from a selected icon (e.g., first icon) to a cursor. The graphical user interface software may adjust the line from the selected icon, for example, as the cursor moves. The graphical user interface software may define and store an association between the first electrical device and a second electrical device, for example, in response to the user selecting the first icon and the second icon.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2023Publication date: October 26, 2023Applicant: Lutron Technology Company LLCInventors: Ritika Arora, Manisha Dahiya Baluja, John N. Patent number: 11752474Abstract: Fluid refining systems and methods are disclosed. A fluid refining apparatus may include an upper motor connected to an upper housing, and a lower motor connected to a lower housing. A central housing may be connected between the upper and lower housing. An upper shaft may be connected to the upper motor and rotatably disposed within the upper housing. A lower shaft may be connected to the lower motor and rotatably disposed within the lower housing. A group of nested upper cylinders may be connected to the upper shaft. A group of nested lower cylinders may be connected to the lower shaft. The group of nested upper cylinders may be positioned adjacent the group of nested lower cylinders in an interlacing, fingerlike relationship, and disposed for counter rotation relative to one other. Each of the cylinders may include flow apertures adapted for cooperative relationship to establish fluid flow paths.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2023Date of Patent: September 12, 2023Assignee: Coactus, LLCInventor: Mark Law
