  • Publication number: 20220239987
Abstract: Systems and methods for creating video content, or Stories, from media captured at an event are disclosed. An Event can be defined using both location parameters (e.g. geofences or geographical envelopes) and temporal windows or envelopes. Media elements, such as images or video clips, captured at the Event (e.g. within the geographical and temporal Event envelopes) can be verified or filtered based on the defined Event, and provided to one or more users to create an EventStory that includes a sequence of selected media elements, Audio and/or video narration can be added to the sequenced EventStory. Other users can be granted permission to create or modify an EventStory corresponding to a defined Event. The finalized EventStory can be shared, either through a social media application/platform or by being stored in a conventional video format.

  • Patent number: 6843346
Abstract: A belay device for climbing with at least one rope is provided. The belay device comprises a first plate having a first lobe with the rope wrapping at least partially about the first lobe and a second plate having a second lobe. A connection mechanism connects the first plate to the second plate through a rotation point with the rotation point positioned inside the second lobe. A first channel is defined by the first plate and the first lobe and the second plate and the second lobe with the rope moveable through the first channel wherein tension on the rope rotates the first plate and the second plate relative to each other thereby narrowing the first channel and impeding movement of the rope through the first channel.

  • Patent number: 5720698
Abstract: A no-impact striding exercise machine having a lever for coupling first and second elongate members, such that rotation of the first elongate member causes the lever to pivot about an axis perpendicular to longitudinal axis of the lever, causing the second elongate member to rotate in a direction opposite the rotation of the first elongate member.
