    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for joining and repairing pipes. More particularly, the invention provides a means for quickly repairing or sealing pipes utilizing photocurable resins in the form of a fabric patch. A photocurable flexible prepreg fabric is wrapped over the entire area of the pipe to be joined or repaired. Preferably, the prepreg fabric contains multiple layers of varying widths and lengths. The prepreg fabric is then exposed to UV radiation which cures and seals the pipe.
