  • Patent number: 8714510
Abstract: A case for an electronic device such as a tablet computer includes book configuration and stand configuration. In the stand configuration, the back panel of the holder, against which the electronic device is held, is disposed at an incline with respect to the front panel. The stand configuration is achieved through folding seams in the front panel and pockets in the back panel such that the front panel is folded back such that the front panel exterior surface generally faces the back panel exterior surface and respective front panel corners are folded along the folding seams and disposed within the back panel pockets.

  • Publication number: 20110204758
Abstract: Embodiments hereof relate to an electronic device securement system for receiving and securing a portable electronic device to a protective housing. The electronic device is secured within the protective housing via a removable gasket, which is custom molded to stretch around the edges of the electronic device to receive the electronic device therein. The gasket is removably coupled to the protective housing via elastomeric protruding buttons of the gasket that frictionally engage holes formed in the protective housing. The electronic device securement system may include a closure strap. The closure strap may operate to transform the protective housing into an easel or stand for displaying the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20070103156
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging system acquires a final image of a selected field of view with a selected spatial resolution. A magnetic resonance imaging scanner (10) encodes and receives magnetic resonance samples in phase encode and readout directions using a plurality of receive coils (14). The encoding and receiving undersamples in the readout direction. A reconstruction processor (30) reconstructs magnetic resonance samples acquired by each of the plurality of receive coils (14) into a corresponding plurality of intermediate reconstructed images. Each intermediate reconstructed image has aliasing and in some aspects degraded high spatial frequency characteristics due to the reduced sampling in the readout direction. A combining processor (40) combines the plurality of intermediate reconstructed images based on coil sensitivity factors (42) to produce the final reconstructed image with the selected field of view and the selected spatial resolution in the readout direction.

  • Patent number: 6434413
Abstract: A method of magnetic resonance imaging includes subjecting a region of a patient being imaged to magnetic resonance imaging pulse sequences thereby generating magnetic resonance echoes emanating from the region. The echoes are encoded with magnetic gradients and collected as k-space data in separate consecutive acquisitions. Each acquisition successively fills in one of a number of distinct subsets of k-space based on the encoding of the collected echoes for that acquisition. In turn, a reconstruction algorithm is applied to the k-space data after each acquisition to generate a series of temporally updated image representations of the region. Further, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus for performing the method is also provided.
