Thereby, the user capability, such as a multimedia session composition, can be already negotiated or handled during the outband call setup phase, and a corresponding inband negotiation can be avoided.

The connection parameter is incorporated in an answer signaling message to be transmitted in response to the setup message, and compared with a negotiated connection parameter.
