  • Patent number: 12229988
Abstract: A device for locating a coupling means arranged on a trailer vehicle before the coupling operation is described, having a coupling on the towing vehicle side that is designed with an insertion opening which is open in the rearward direction (R) and is intended for the entry of the coupling means, a light transmitter fitted to the coupling on the towing vehicle side, and a light receiver which captures light from the light transmitter that is reflected by the coupling means. The problem of providing a device which can be used to make it possible for the coupling on the towing vehicle side to more precisely approach the coupling means of the trailer vehicle is solved by virtue of the fact that the light transmitter is a stroboscopic light.

  • Publication number: 20220396107
Abstract: A method for moving a vehicle to a component of an object at a distance therefrom, the vehicle having a navigation module which has a camera and an evaluation electronics, and an identification element is attached to the object in a predetermined position in such a way that it is recognized by the camera in a far range (Dmax) of the vehicle from the object, and a reverse driving line of the vehicle is calculated by the evaluation electronics from the perspective position of the camera in relation to the identification element. The method improves the approach of a vehicle to a stationary object. A close-range (Dmin) is defined in the direction of the object by a close-range radius (Rmin) and the reverse driving line is calculated up to a virtual pre-positioning point (SVi, SVii, SViii) lying on the close-range radius (Rmin).

  • Patent number: 9449877
Abstract: A method of singulating a semiconductor wafer with laser energy while the semiconductor wafer is supported on a mounting tape during singulation comprises the step of depositing a coating material onto a portion of the mounting tape adjacent to a perimeter of the semiconductor wafer to form a protective layer over the mounting tape. The semiconductor wafer is then cut with a laser beam such that the laser beam at least partially impinges upon the protective layer during cutting of the semiconductor wafer. After singulation of the semiconductor wafer, the protective layer is removed from the mounting tape.

  • Publication number: 20070224199
Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel methods for screening for compounds useful in treating telomerase positive cancers. In exemplary embodiments, screening methods are based on the implementation or manipulation of therapeutic agents that up-regulate activity or expression of MKRN polypeptides or polynucleotides encoding the same, respectively. The methods are useful in identifying agents that can serve as cancer therapeutic agents.

  • Publication number: 20020155157
Abstract: Compositions are disclosed comprising complexes of polynucleotide molecules which are covalently coupled to ligand moieties that are specifically bound to ligand-binding molecules, where the ligand binding molecules have multiple ligand-binding sites that specifically bind to the ligand moieties. Each polynucleotide molecule in these complexes is covalently coupled to at least one ligand moiety which is specifically bound to a ligand-binding site on a ligand-binding molecule. Most or all of the ligand-binding molecules in the complexes are linked to multiple polynucleotide molecules by specific binding to multiple ligand moieties; and most or all of the polynucleotide molecules in the compositions are included in these complexes. Also disclosed are methods for preparing compositions of the invention and for using them to introduce polynucleotides into cells, including for expressing genes for gene therapy.

  • Patent number: 6162071
Abstract: An electrical receptacle adapted to be recessed into a work surface, having a concealed compartment containing electrical ports for connection to a remote power supply and communications devices and an exposed compartment for connecting electrical cables to the ports. The ports are mounted on a partition plate isolating the exposed compartment from the concealed compartment, which is disposed at an oblique angle relative to the work surface to facilitate the connection and detachment of electrical cables and reduce clutter in the work space. The receptacle housing is preferably formed from components which are longitudinally linear, and are thus able to be extruded from aluminum and formed to interlock so that the housing can be assembled without welding. In the preferred embodiment the front portion is engaged to the rear portion along a slip-fit interlock and the partition plate is engaged between the front and rear portions in snap-fit relation.
