The filtration apparatus can be configured to cause a filtration of air from a setting in which the room air purification unit is located when the air flows through the filtration apparatus. The blower can be configured to cause the air from the setting to flow through the filtration apparatus and into an inlet of the blower and to expel the air from an outlet of the blower. The purification chamber can be configured to receive the air from the blower and to cause a purification the air when the air flows through the purification chamber. The outer housing can enclose the filtration apparatus, the blower, and the purification chamber.
