Publication number: 20240087019Abstract: A method of trading electrical energy is provided. The method comprises a smart agent receiving state data affecting electricity usage within an electrical power grid over a specified time period and forecasting, with a supply/demand model, supply and demand for electricity within the power grid according to the state data. The smart agent uses a reinforced learning neural network to calculate a price for electricity according the state data and forecasted supply and demand. The smart agent submits an order to a matching engine to buy or sell electricity on the power grid at the calculated price according to specified market rules. The smart engine receives an acknowledgment from the matching engine if the order is matched to another agent on the power grid or a rejection from the matching engine if the order is not matched to another agent.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: James Rilett, Isabel Tang, Raza Hassan, Simon Thorne, Mark Gilleeney, Tim de Knegt, Lachlan McLachlan

Patent number: 11745091Abstract: A handheld touch apparatus for providing a variety of tactile sensations to the fingers and thumb of a hand of a user. The touch apparatus includes a multi-faceted block body having an outer surface defined by a plurality of planar faces joined together by radiused edges that meet together to form rounded corners. The block body is sized for holding within the palm of the user's hand and for being supported, rotated and manipulated by the fingers and thumb of the same hand. The touch apparatus further includes tactile features extending from the planar faces of the block body and that are selectively movable relative to their associated planar faces. The tactile features are contained within the volume of an imaginary sphere defined by the rounded corners and isolated from the tactile features on adjacent planar faces by the radiused edges of the block body.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2022Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: ANTSY LABS LLCInventors: Matthew McLachlan, Mark McLachlan

Publication number: 20220130198Abstract: A mailer and display device for shipping and displaying coins or tokens includes a first panel having a front face, a back face, and one or more pockets extending inward from the front face that is sized and shaped to closely receive a coin or token. The device also includes a second panel foldably coupled to an upper edge of the first panel and a third panel foldably coupled to a lower edge of the first panel. The device is positionable into a first mailer configuration with the second and third panels folded over the first panel to form a substantially rectangular shape for shipping, and into a second display configuration with the second and third panels folded behind the first panel to form a hollow triangular shape for display, with the third panel forming a base and the front face of the first panel facing upwardly and outwardly.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2021Publication date: April 28, 2022Applicant: Antsy Labs LLCInventors: Matthew McLachlan, Mark McLachlan

Patent number: 11278792Abstract: A handheld touch apparatus for providing a variety of tactile sensations to the fingers and thumb of a hand of a user. The touch apparatus includes a cubic body having an outer surface defined by a plurality of faces that are planar and orthogonal to one another and joined together by radiused edges that meet together to form rounded corners. The cubic body is sized for holding within the palm of the user's hand and for being supported, rotated and manipulated by the fingers and thumb of the same hand. The touch apparatus further includes tactile features extending from the faces of the cubic body and that are selectively movable relative to their associated faces. The tactile features are contained within the volume of an imaginary sphere defined by the rounded corners and isolated from the tactile features on adjacent faces by the radiused edges of the cubic body.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2017Date of Patent: March 22, 2022Assignee: Antsy Labs LLCInventors: Matthew McLachlan, Mark McLachlan
