Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for converting account credentials in mobile devices. An example method includes receiving a request to digitize a second account in a mobile device, in place of a first account, and determining a type of the second account is different than a type of the first account. The method also includes identifying a first application identifier (AID) for the second account and transmitting, to a digital platform computing device, a request to digitize the second account to the mobile device. The method then further includes receiving, from the digital platform computing device, a notice to digitize the second account to an instance of the application for the second account in the mobile device, where the notice includes an AID for the first account, validating the AID for the first account, and generating and transmitting personalization data to the digital platform computing device.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for detecting a fault within a brake booster system of a vehicle. In one example, a method may include measuring the pressure of a brake booster chamber and the pressure of an inlet manifold, comparing the booster chamber and inlet manifold pressures, determining the faulty source, and restricting the use of an electrical system in case of a fault. In this way, the pressure within the inlet manifold may be reduced or maintained in the event of a fault.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for reducing pain and the discomfort experienced by a patient as a consequence of a needle stick during the administration of an injection. The pain-reducing apparatus includes a handle and a disposable fork detachably connected thereto. The fork has a pair of outstretched fingers that are separated from one another by a gap at which the injection site is located. Vibrations applied to the fork from the handle are transmitted from the fingers of the fork to the patient's tissue or skin surrounding the injection site. The vibrations desensitize the patient's tissue/skin during the administration of the injection.
