Abstract: An apparatus and method for bagging ice. The apparatus comprises an ice maker for making ice and a hopper for receiving for receiving the ice from the ice maker. The apparatus further includes a roller drum, operatively associated with the hopper, for measuring the ice and delivering of the ice. The roller drum includes an inner rotating drum. A bag delivery mechanism for placing the ice in a bag is also included, with the bag delivery mechanism including a bag supply mechanism, a fan engaged to open the mouth of the bag to receive the product, and a heat sealer that seals the open mouth of the bag once the bag is filled with the ice. A control device is included that manages and monitors the roller drum and bag delivery mechanism and allows transmission of the collected data to the Internet.

Abstract: An ice-bagging apparatus for automatically and continuously producing, bagging and storing bags of ice without the occurrence of bridging between the ice particles/cubes, and without the need for manual labor and/or continuous monitoring of the machinery, wherein a bag identification mechanism is utilized to ensure the use of only a select type or brand of bag within the ice-bagging apparatus.

Abstract: A high pressure electrical cable packoff and method of making. An integral packoff and seal includes a resin block bound to the insulation of an electrical cable where the metal exterior and jacket have been removed. A resilient sealing ring is molded around and encloses the block and the section of cable where the metal exterior and jacket have been removed. The integral packoff may be used in a wellhead in an oil well for restraining movement of the cable and for forming a high pressure seal.
