  • Patent number: 12626247
Abstract: A computerized method is provided for digitally signing a digital document related to a transaction request from a customer. The method includes receiving, by a computing device, data related to the transaction request from the customer via a web-based interface. Receipt of the transaction data initiates a request session. The method also includes recording during the request session a voice signature sample from the customer via the web-based user interface and verifying the customer for the transaction request by comparing the voice signature sample with a stored voice print of the customer. Further, a consolidated record for the transaction request is generated that includes the transaction data and the transaction result. The digital document is populated with the transaction data if the customer is verified, where the digital document is treated as being digitally signed by the customer.

  • Patent number: 11631559
Abstract: A switching device comprising first and second body parts and a first operating device for moving the body parts into a closed state. A piezoelectric actuator is coupled to each body part and is operable to move the body parts part away from one another. The switching device may be incorporated into an actuator for operating the vacuum interrupter of a vacuum circuit breaker.

  • Patent number: 11251004
Abstract: A vacuum circuit breaker comprises a vacuum interrupter operable between a closed state and an open state, and an actuator. The actuator comprises a piezoelectric driving element that is expandable and contractable along an expansion axis in response to an electrical input signal. The actuator further comprises a mechanical amplifying structure extendable along an actuation axis and being mechanically coupled to the piezoelectric driver such that expansion or contraction of said piezoelectric driving element causes the amplifying structure to extend or retract along the actuation axis. The mechanical amplifying structure is coupled to the vacuum interrupter for operating the vacuum interrupter between said closed and open states.

  • Patent number: 11152172
Abstract: A vacuum circuit breaker comprising a vacuum interrupter and an actuator coupled to the vacuum interrupter. The vacuum interrupter and actuator are located in a vacuum chamber that is partitioned into first and second vacuum sub-chambers. The vacuum interrupter is located in the first sub-chamber and the actuator is located in the second sub-chamber. The partition is configured to support molecular flow between the first and second sub-chambers.

  • Patent number: 8566310
Abstract: The addition of a two-way filter to computer networks, such as the Internet, uses both the criteria of the information producer (or product/service provider) and the criteria of the information consumer (or customer) to specifically target consumers with useful information or special offers on products or services they need during a specific time frame or time frames. Two-way filtering also permits customers or information consumers to quickly identify available products or services or information they are specifically interested in without requiring the customer to review hundreds, if not thousands, of sources, since the returned results have been heavily filtered. Two-way filtering is particularly important when it is used to match the service area the service provider is working in during a particular day (or a particular period of time) with customers in that service area that may need the services of the service provider.

  • Publication number: 20110238504
Abstract: The cost of advertisements, for example advertisements on the Internet, is based on the “visibility” of the advertisements. The visibility is determined by considering at least the following factors: the duration the advertisement is displayed, the geographical expanse the advertisement is displayed to, the broadness of the search terms associated with the advertisement and whether the advertisement is given premium placement.
