    Abstract: A vendor hosts a search interface and method for managing multiple networked vendors accepts a search query and performs a meta-search for matching content. The search results are indexed and displayed. When the consumer makes a preferred selection, the preference is tracked and the consumer is redirected to the URL for the selected content, regardless of whether the content is provide by the host vendor, thereby maintaining consumer loyalty despite their selection from a competing vendor. Specifically, the consumers search request is formatted into a specific format and posted to an array of search engines. The search results are parsed and information is extracted, indexed and displayed as a custom HTML formatted list, A sub-selection of information is identified for obtaining real-time market preferences.
