Patent number: 10591337Abstract: A lockable metering aerosol dispenser is disclosed for dispensing an aerosol product from an aerosol container through an aerosol valve. The lockable metering aerosol dispenser comprises a base secured to the aerosol container with a cup rotationally mounted to the base between a locked rotational position and an unlocked rotational position. A metering cup is secured relative to the base and communicates with the aerosol valve. The cup is capable of actuating the aerosol valve for dispensing the aerosol product into the metering cup when the cup is rotated into the unlocked rotational position. The cup is inhibited from actuating the aerosol valve when the cup is rotated into the locked rotational position.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2015Date of Patent: March 17, 2020Assignee: AptarGroup, Inc.Inventors: Mark Neuhalfen, Gregory A Erickson, Stephen Virgilio, Paul Hallman, Gerald J Marquardt, Sean Hang Cho

Patent number: 7357158Abstract: A process is disclosed for filling an improved aerosol dispenser with a first and a second fluid product and an aerosol propellant. The process comprises the steps of filling a first and a second inner container located within an aerosol container with the first and the second fluid products. The aerosol container is filled with the aerosol propellant. The improved aerosol dispenser separately stores the first and second fluid prior to use. The improved aerosol dispenser mixes and dispenses the first and second fluids for discharge from a terminal orifice.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2005Date of Patent: April 15, 2008Assignee: Seaquist Perfect Dispensing ForeignInventors: Patrick Timothy Yerby, Mark Neuhalfen

Patent number: 7267248Abstract: An improved aerosol dispenser is disclosed for mixing and dispensing a first and second fluid. The improved aerosol dispenser comprises a valve body sealably mounted to the aerosol container. A first and a second channel is defined in the valve body for providing fluid communication with a valve body cavity of the valve body. A first and a second inner container are located within the aerosol container for communicating with the first and second channels, respectively. A valve assembly comprising a first and a second valve element enables the mixing and dispensing of the first and second fluids from a terminal orifice upon the simultaneous actuation of the first and second valve elements. The invention is also incorporated into the process of filling an improved aerosol dispenser with a first and a second fluid products and an aerosol propellant.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2003Date of Patent: September 11, 2007Assignee: Seaquist Perfect Dispensing ForeignInventors: Patrick Timothy Yerby, Mark Neuhalfen

Patent number: 5527577Abstract: An apparatus and method is disclosed for an improved flexible eduction tube for discharging a liquid product from a container with a dispensing mechanism comprising a mixture of a flexible material with a dense filler material distributed within said flexible material to provide a specific gravity greater than the liquid product within the container for enabling an input aperture of the eduction tube to remain below the level of the liquid product within the container when the container is tipped from a vertical orientation. In another embodiment of the invention, the eduction tube comprises a flexible material and rigid means for providing a non-flexible eduction tube prior to insertion of the eduction tube within the container and for providing a flexible eduction tube upon contact with the liquid product within the container.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 1993Date of Patent: June 18, 1996Assignee: Aptar Group, Inc.Inventors: Peter J.
