  • Publication number: 20070275152
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a certain isoflavone-enhanced domestic animal feed compositions and methods of producing such feed compositions. In one particular implementation, a feed composition includes a soy meal that is no more than about 20 weight percent of the feed composition. This soy meal has a soy isoflavone content that provides the feed composition with a soy isoflavone concentration, normalized to an aglycone content of about 250-1400 parts per million on a weight basis (ppm), e.g., about 800-1200 ppm. Feed compositions in certain adaptations have demonstrated some advantages over feeds with lower isoflavone content.

  • Publication number: 20070026493
Abstract: A system for generating optimized values for variable inputs to an animal production system. The system includes a simulator engine configured to receive a plurality of animal information inputs and generate a performance projection. At least one of the animal information inputs is designated as a variable input and at least one of the animal information inputs includes animal genotype information. The system further includes an enterprise supervisor engine configured to generate an optimized value for the at least one variable input wherein the optimized value is configured to optimize animal production based on the animal genotype information.

  • Publication number: 20060041408
Abstract: A system for generating an animal feed formulation based on environmental nutrient inputs. The system comprises a simulator engine configured to generate a set of animal requirements in view of environmental nutrients received by an animal based on characteristics of the animal and a formulator engine configured to receive the set of animal requirements and generate an optimized animal feed formulation based on the animal requirements.

  • Publication number: 20060041413
Abstract: A system for generating an animal feed formulation based on utilization of nutrients received by an animal. The system includes a simulator engine configured to generate a set of animal requirements based on characteristics of an animal and to generate animal feed formulation input based at least in part on a projected nutrient utilization for the animal and the set of animal requirements. The system further includes a formulator engine configured to receive the animal feed formulation input and generate an optimized animal feed formulation based on the animal feed formulation input.

  • Publication number: 20060041412
Abstract: A system for generating optimized values for variable inputs to an animal production system. The system includes a simulator engine configured to receive a plurality of animal information inputs and generate a performance projection. At least one of the animal information inputs is designated as a variable input. The system further includes an enterprise supervisor engine configured to generate first and second optimized values for the at least one variable input. The first optimized value is generated based on an optimization criteria and the second optimized value is generated based on empirical feedback after application of the first variable input.
