  • Publication number: 20210251572
Abstract: The wearable data collection device includes a processor, a sensor, a digital memory storage, and a battery. There can also be a data transmitter, a data transceiver, and a plurality of switches. The processor, sensor, digital memory storage, and any other electronics can be housed within a sensor module, while the battery is housed within a battery module. The modules are joined to one another to define a sealed unit to be fit in a housing. The housing can be attached by a strap to the user. The switches isolate the battery from the sensor, digital memory storage, the data transmitter, the data transceiver, or other electronic component.

  • Patent number: 10496177
Abstract: Systems and methods for switching a user interface input response mode. A direction of motion of a pointing device with reference to a spatial coordinate system may be determined. The direction of motion may be associated with a particular touch input for simulation by the computer system based on motion of the pointing device, the particular touch input selected from multiple touch inputs. The user interface input response mode may be switched from a first mode to a second mode associated with the particular touch input.

  • Publication number: 20180047254
Abstract: This invention relates to computer systems, and methods for facilitating wagering. In particular, the invention related to a computer system to facilitate in the placing of bets requiring multiple selections in a bet unit by enabling the gambler to complete a single bet slip, for the placing of wagers having multiple betting combinations by using groups and rules in the selection process, to control the number of times any of these betting combinations or bet units are taken and whether any betting combinations or bet units are placed as a fixed odds bet or as a pooled bet. The computer system further enables a gambler to develop or select a module of commands capable of producing wagers automatically and further provides a system to reward the gambler for the relative correctness of his wager.

  • Publication number: 20130321446
Abstract: A visualization system generates a visualization for a data set comprising multiple data points. The visualization system accesses the data set and determines a representative data characteristic of the data set. The visualization system also determines, for each of the multiple data points in the data set, a difference between a data point value of a respective data point and the representative data characteristic. Using the determined differences, the visualization system determines a plotting order of the multiple data points. To generate the visualization, the visualization system plots the representative data characteristic in an initial cell and plots the multiple data points in the data set in respective cells such that the respective cells spiral outward from the initial cell in the determined plotting order.
