    Abstract: A servo assisted breathing apparatus for a scuba regulator is disclosed. The inhalation control diaphragm assembly and pilot valve are located in a casing attached to the mouthpiece. However, the air supply valve is directly connected to the regulator's first stage and is connected to the pilot valve by an elongated conduit which forms a portion of the control chamber. The elongated conduit and the air supply conduit are preferably coaxial.
