  • Publication number: 20260149940
Abstract: Various embodiments of an ear-wearable electronic device that includes an acoustic boot are disclosed. The device includes an enclosure including a first housing, a second housing, and the acoustic boot disposed between the first housing and the second housing. The acoustic boot includes a body having a first major surface, a second major surface, and an outer body surface that extends between the first and second major surfaces and connects the first and second major surfaces. The acoustic boot further includes a microphone coupler connected to the body and disposed within the enclosure, and an acoustic path defined by the body, where the acoustic path extends between a first opening defined by the outer body surface and a second opening disposed within the microphone coupler and defined by a cavity of the microphone coupler.

  • Publication number: 20260149912
Abstract: Various embodiments of an ear-wearable electronic device are disclosed. The device includes an enclosure having a first housing and a second housing. The device also includes an acoustic path that extends along an axis between a first opening defined by an outer surface of the enclosure and a second opening defined by a surface of a cavity of a microphone coupler disposed within the enclosure. The acoustic path includes a first trap connected to the acoustic path adjacent the first opening of the acoustic path, and a second trap connected to the acoustic path so that the second trap is disposed closer to the second opening than the first trap. Each of the first trap and the second trap is configured to collect debris.

  • Publication number: 20250386155
Abstract: Various embodiments of an ear-wearable electronic device are disclosed. The device includes a shell having a first end configured to be disposed in an ear canal of the wearer and a second end configured to be disposed proximate to a concha of the ear of the wearer. The device further includes an electro-mechanical package that includes a faceplate connected to the shell to form an enclosure, and a flexible printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) disposed within the enclosure proximate to the second end of the shell and supported by at least one of an exterior surface of a battery housing or the faceplate. The package further includes a micro-mechanical systems (MEMS) receiver disposed proximate to the second end of the shell and surface mounted to the PCBA, and an acoustic port that is acoustically coupled to the receiver.

  • Publication number: 20050193517
Abstract: A debris collection system for use with a portable, hand held blower/vac comprises a wheeled cart. A collection bag is releasably carried on the cart. A connecting hose releasably couples the collection bag to the fan outlet of the blower/vac to fill the collection bag with debris picked up by the blower/vac when the blower/vac operates in the vacuum mode. The cart rolls on the ground and trails behind the blower/vac in the manner of a canister vacuum cleaner as a user operates the blower/vac and walks forwardly with the blower/vac. The collection bag may be a reusable fabric bag or a disposable paper bag.
