Abstract: The invention relates to a multifunctional garment comprising a fabric element having at least two plies or layers, with said two plies being attached to each other along their respective edges and the connection being openable along at least one edge, wherein at least two cords extend from the edge along which opening of the connection is possible, and the cords run through one or more clamps so that an adjustment of the length of the cords between the clamps and the edge can be brought about, and wherein along the edge of the fabric element opposite to the edge along which an opening of the connection is possible, a zipper is arranged that can be closed from the middle of the edge outwardly. The garment may particularly be used as a hood, shoulder bag, neck warmer or shoulder cape.
