Abstract: The present invention is for a chopper and wide-spread impeller spreader that feeds crop residue from the chopper into the spreader at a specific upward angle to more fully utilize the momentum the crop residue achieves in the chopper. The spreader incorporates air intake holes and air fins above the impellers to keep crop residue moving through the impellers without plugging of discharge material. These improvements provide the desired wide-spread broadcast, while preventing crop residue from plugging the spreader.

A service provider system offers products for sale through the service provider system directly and also through associated merchants that are authorized to be associated with the service provider system. Members are enrolled in the service provider system. Medical discount cards are awarded. Points are awarded to members for purchases of products through the service provider system and the associated merchants for future purchases. At least a portion of the points are applied to a member's costs of the medical discount cards. A dollar value of points granted to a member, through the service provider system or associated merchants, during a taxable year is unknown to the service provider system or associated merchants during that taxable year.

Abstract: A work vehicle having a fluent material spreader comprising two counter-rotating variable speed impellers adapted to receive and broadcast fluent material. A right-side impeller broadcasts out to a right-side material broadcast width, and left-side impeller broadcasts out to a left-side material broadcast width. Rotational speed of the right-side impeller is commanded to achieve a desired a right-side material broadcast width, and rotational speed of the left-side impeller is commanded to achieve a desired a left-side material broadcast width. Command of the right-side and left-side impellers is achieved either manually by and operator, or automatically by a control system based on sensor input.

Abstract: A computer keyboard optimized for generating multi-color text documents is described. A standard keyboard includes a plurality of selected function keys that are programmed to change the document text color when activated. The function keys are displayed on a computer display screen and each of the selected keys further includes color indicia to indicate the new text color that results from activation of that key and all color changes can be performed at the same normal typing speed.

Abstract: Systems and methods that identify and extract information from articles are described. In one embodiment, a search engine implements a method comprising receiving a plurality of articles, and identifying at least a first article as a shopping article. The method can further comprise receiving a search query for an item, selecting the first article as associated with the search query, and identifying a first attribute associated with a first item relevant to the search query from the first article based at least in part on the search query.

The listing identifies other devices coupled to the device and also identifies which communication port of the device each of the other devices is coupled to. The listing is compared against reference information representing the design of the network. Discrepancies between the listing and the reference information are identified.

Abstract: A sacral medical electrical lead which may be implanted and reliably fixed for a temporary period of time within the sacrum in a minimally invasive manner. The lead features a lead body having a electrical conductor positioned within an insulator sheath, a connector for electrically coupling the electrical conductor to a pulse generator, an electrode located on a distal end of the lead body, the electrode electrically coupled to the conductor, and an anchor for anchoring the lead body to sacral tissue, the anchor integral with the insulator sheath. In the preferred embodiment the anchor comprises a notched section in which the insulation of the lead body presents a macroscopically roughened surface which can thereby engage into the tissue without causing damage to the tissue.

Abstract: Hydraulic fracturing of earth formations from wells for producing gas or hydrocarbon liquids is carried out by extending the fracture to a predetermined length with clean or low proppant concentration fluids, then decreasing the rate of injection with low proppant concentration fluids to equal the fluid leakoff rate until the fracture tip is blocked or screened out. Alternatively, the proppant concentration could be progressively increased until tip screenout occurs. Injection rates are then increased, particularly in high permeability formations, to increase the fracture width.

Abstract: Certain wellbore fluid stimulation treatments may be monitored by a system including instrumented manifolds which may be connected between a base fluid source and a blending unit and between the blending unit and fluid injection pumps, respectively for measuring flow rates of the base fluid, the fluid additives and the fluid composition formed by the base fluid and the fluid additives. Instruments are also provided for measuring fluid temperature, pH, viscosity and flow behavior indexes (n', K') and fluid density. Quality control and determination of pressure losses in the wellbore together with modeling of stimulation treatments may be carried out by the continuous monitoring of parameters with the base fluid manifold and the mixed composition manifold.

Abstract: Friction pressure losses are obtained for non-Newtonian or generalized Newtonian fluids being pumped through conduits at high flow rates, such as in hydraulic fracturing of subterranean formations, by measuring friction pressure losses in a pipe viscometer under laminar flow conditions. The pipe viscometer includes a pump which supplies fluid to a continuous loop having three pipe sections of different diameter for measuring pressure drop at different flow velocities. Sets of data points of generalized shear stress and shear rate are measured for determining the consistency index (K') and the Power Law or flow behavior index (n').

Abstract: The present invention provides a coaster for a drink container characterized in that the coaster incorporates a microporous structure capable of absorbing liquids which fall upon the surface thereof. Such a coaster, provided it is of appropriate dimensions and porosity, can prevent any spillage or condensation from reaching the table surface, yet will remain externally dry.
