Patent number: 10906449Abstract: A dump truck (10) has a tipping body (30) in the form of a shell structure for holding material, which is pivotally mounted to the chassis (19) of the dump truck (10) for tilting about a transverse tipping axis. The truck (10) has at least one hoist pivot (33) configured for connection to a respective tipping ram (18) mounted to the chassis (19). The hoist pivot (33) is positioned to abut against the underside of the shell structure (36) when acted upon by the tipping ram (18) and tilt the tipping body (30) about the tipping axis. However, the hoist pivot (33) is not integral or welded to the shell structure (36). High stress concentrations are thereby avoided or significantly lessened in the tipping body shell in the vicinity of the hoist pivot, and there are no welds between the hoist pivot and the shell structure to become fatigued or crack. This enables a simplified and lighter single skin shell structure to be used for the tipping body.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2015Date of Patent: February 2, 2021Assignee: WILLINGDON PROPERTIES PTY LTDInventor: Mark Petrie

Patent number: 10291471Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and articles associated with remediation execution. In embodiments, a set of policy test failures may be selected for remediation. The set of policy test failures may be associated with a computer network with a number of nodes. For each failure within the set of policy test failures, a remediation script may be obtained to remediate a corresponding policy test failure. The remediation scripts may be selectively provided to nodes that are affected by policy test failures, for execution by the nodes. A remediation script result for each remediation script executed may be received. Based upon the remediation script results, it may be determined whether or not execution of the remediation scripts was successful.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2016Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Tripwire, Inc.Inventors: David Whitlock, Guy Gascoigne-Piggford, Geoff Granum, Mark Petrie

Patent number: 9026646Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and articles associated with correlating detected changes within a computer network with remediation processes performed in response to policy test failures. In embodiments, on determination that a failure of a policy test has occurred within a computer network having a number of nodes, a remediation process may be executed to remediate the failure. Change at a node may be detected. Further, the detected change may be correlated with the execution of the remediation process, and the correlation may be identified.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2011Date of Patent: May 5, 2015Assignee: Tripwire, Inc.Inventors: David Whitlock, Guy Gascoigne-Piggford, Geoff Granum, Mark Petrie

Publication number: 20130073704Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and articles for promoting changes that result from remediation performed within a computer network, for compliance review. Policy tests may be provided within the computer network, which comprises a number of nodes. The policy tests may relate to configuration parameters and compliance requirements for various nodes within the computer network. At least one pattern relating to nodes within the computer network that may be affected by execution of a remediation script is determined. Nodes within the computer network may be identified, based at least in part on the at least one pattern. Subsequent to execution of the remediation script, a list of nodes whose state has changed may be promoted for compliance review.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2011Publication date: March 21, 2013Applicant: TRIPWIRE, INC.Inventors: David Whitlock, Guy Gascoigne-Piggford, Geoff Granum, Mark Petrie, Darren Gilroy

Publication number: 20070079942Abstract: A vertically moving door of a truck loading dock includes a disconnectable horizontal joint that provides the door with a barrier position, wherein an upper section of the door can be separated from a lower section to create a ventilation area between the two. The ventilation area allows fresh outside air to enter the building, while the lower section remains at its lowermost position for safety and security. More specifically, the lower section serves as a barrier that helps prevent someone or something from accidentally falling through the doorway when a truck is not present at the dock. A lightweight, resilient strap can be attached to the lower section of the door to help protect that section from an otherwise damaging impact. A lattice of straps or a mesh can be installed across the ventilation area to help secure the building against theft.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 25, 2006Publication date: April 12, 2007Inventors: Ronald Snyder, Jason Miller, Donald Grant, Paul Maly, Joseph Manone, Daniel Anderson, Ronald Bennett, Mark Petri

Publication number: 20060218731Abstract: A dock leveler for a truck loading dock includes a pivotal deck that is raised by an inflatable actuator. The actuator includes a pliable upper section that when inflated has a generally vertical cylindrical shape that can provide a heavy deck with substantial columnar support. The actuator also includes a relatively rigid base that is sealingly joined to the pliable upper section such that upper section and the rigid base define an inner chamber of air. A blower for inflating the actuator can be installed inside or outside the actuator. In some embodiments, a valve system reverses the airflow so that the blower can forcibly deflate and compress the actuator up against the bottom of the deck so that the area underneath the actuator can be cleaned.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2005Publication date: October 5, 2006Inventors: Tim Muhl, Andrew Wanie, Norbert Hahn, Mark Petri, Pamela Pietrangelo, Reinhard Sander, Jeffrey Schwager
