  • Publication number: 20200033131
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an underground mining vehicle comprising a three-axis MEMS gyroscope rotatable about a rotation axis and a gyroscope interface that calculates a first rotation rate bias with respect to a first axis different to the rotation axis, a second rotation rate bias with respect to a second axis different to the first axis and different to the rotation axis, a rotation rate about the rotation axis based on the Earth rotation rate vector by correcting the rotational measurement data using the first rotation rate bias and the second rotation rate bias and a third rotation rate bias with respect to the rotation axis based on the calculated rotation rate about the rotation axis. A navigation unit receives the first rotation rate bias, the second rotation rate bias and the third rotation rate bias and calculates a pose of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10470977
Abstract: Methods and systems for a drug supply with an associated dosage regimen are described. A plurality of dosage containers are sequentially stored in drug boxes. The dosage containers are associated with a first time of treatment. The drug boxes are associated with a certain recurring time, e.g., morning, afternoon and evening or four boxes associated with four times a day. The entire day is covered by a plurality of drug boxes for treatment. This organizes the drugs such that compliance with complex treatment regimens may be increased. The drugs in each of the dosage containers need not be the same dosage or even the same drugs each time.

Date of Patent: November 12, 2019
    Assignee: Accredo Health Group, Inc.
Inventors: Christina J. Thach, Charles E. Eller, Mark G. Bini, Terry Griffith, Jacob J. Reinhardt, Kristin Trower, Stefanie Pitts

  • Patent number: 9945852
Abstract: A method of determining the presence or absence in a sample of a biomarker, the method comprising: (a) linking an antigen to colloidal gold to provide a gold-antigen species; (b) contacting the gold-antigen species with the sample; (c) adding a diagnosis agent to the sample; and (d) observing the color of the sample.

  • Publication number: 20170248595
Abstract: A method of determining the presence or absence in a sample of a biomarker, the method comprising the steps of (a) providing a porous substrate which carries an antigen; (b) contacting the substrate with the sample; (c) contacting the substrate with a composition comprising a secondary antibody; and (d) observing the substrate. The method may enable a very quick, simple test to be carried out to determine whether or not a particular sample contains a biomarker, for example an antibody indicative of infection with a mycobacterial disease. A kit and a device for determining the presence or absence in a sample of a biomarker are also described.
