Abstract: The present invention provides methods, a server and a system for adjusting the operation of an application of a server during operation of the server. The method may include the steps of preparing a file in a tag-based language format wherein the file includes a desired change in operation of the application, sending the file in the tag-based language format to the server and dynamically changing the application during server operation by implementing the file in the tag-based language format via a control panel that is coupled to the server.

Abstract: Content clipping is provided. Upon a user selecting content within a network document to be clipped, the content is parsed for clickable images. Any discovered clickable images are displayed to a user. An image is clickable if it is enclosed in an anchor tag or other structure that indicates a referenced content address. Upon a user selecting one of the clickable images a bit-mapped image of the selected clickable image is stored for later access by the user.

Abstract: Advertisements placed on a Web page are placed according to selection criteria relating to and describing the advertisement in terms of consumers to whom it is directed. The debugging process and system overlays the selection criteria on the advertisement to allow manual debugging of the criteria. By changing the selection criteria assigned to an advertisement, a marketing person manually changes to whom that advertisement is directed.
