    Abstract: An apparatus for substantially sealing a gap disposed between an edge of a door and a surface, which, upon the attachment of the apparatus to the door, results in substantially impeding movement of vermin about the edge, the apparatus includes: (i) an outer material that substantially forms a seal between the edge and the surface; (ii) an inner material in contact with the inner surface of the outer material, wherein the inner material forms a gnaw-resistant barrier to vermin; and (iii) at least one connecting member in contact with the outer material that connects the apparatus to the edge of the door.
