  • Publication number: 20250033835
Abstract: This invention relates to a removable cap which is metallic to facilitate recovery and recycling. The removable metal cap is for a container, such as tin or jar which may contain supplements or foodstuffs. The metallic removable cap has a thread for screwing the metal cap onto a threaded opening of a container. A retaining bead is provided on its inner surface and retains a two-piece wad. The two-piece wad is formed from an upper (cap) layer and a lower (container) layer. When installed the lower layer seals the container and the retaining bead retains the two-piece wad until removal of the metal cap from the container whereupon the upper layer of the wad separates from the lower layer of the wad and is held inside the metal cap by the retaining bead.

  • Patent number: 12205162
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for providing financial services are described. The system and method include determining an account balance for a financial account. If the account balance is negative, notice of the negative balance is sent to the account holder in real time. After a predetermined period of time or grace period, and/or by a predetermined end time or cut-off date or time, it is determined whether the negative balance was cured. If the negative balance was not cured during the grace period, an overdraft fee is assessed to the financial account. If the negative balance was cured during the grace period, any assessed overdraft fee for the negative balance is rebated or reversed.

Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems, apparatuses, and methods for operating the systems and apparatuses are disclosed. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a negative pressure source, a connector port, at least one switch, and a controller. The negative pressure source is connected through the connector port to either (i) a wound dressing having a canister configured to store fluid aspirated from the wound or (ii) a wound dressing without a canister between the connector port and the wound dressing. The controller determines, based on a signal received from the at least one switch, whether the canister is positioned in the fluid flow path and adjusts one or more operational parameters of negative pressure wound therapy based on the determination. The switch is activated by the connection of either the canister or canisterless wound dressing to the apparatus.
