  • Publication number: 20230130840
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for classifying financial data to generate a financial health evaluation. In some cases, financial data relating to an entity may be obtained, where the financial data includes a plurality of transactions and at least one account balance for a time period. Each of the transactions and the account balance may be categorized into one of a plurality of data categories including: gross income, net income, debt, savings, expenses, liquid reserves, and late payments. The plurality of data categories may be used to determine a plurality of factor scores, where each of the plurality of factor scores include a relative metric of an aspect of a financial health evaluation. A weight may be associated to each of the plurality of factors scores to generate a plurality of weighted factor scores, whereby the weighted factors scores may be combined to generate the financial health evaluation.

  • Publication number: 20230128256
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing a financial health score simulator for a consumer or entity. In some aspects, a request to simulate an impact on a financial health score of an entity caused by a change in at least one of a subset of financial data values used to determine the financial health score may be obtained. A past financial health score may be obtained including values for at least three of a debt-to income factor, a total spending factor, a debt/debt portfolio factor, a saving factor, a liquid reserves factor, or a payment history factor. A simulated financial health score may be calculated using the at least one changed value for at least one of the subset of financial data values. An indication the simulated financial health score may then be provided to the requesting device.

  • Publication number: 20230125183
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing a classifying financial data to generate a financial health score for a consumer or entity. In some aspects, financial data relating to an entity over a time period may be obtained, where the financial data includes at least one debt item associated with a debt item interest rate. At least one interest rate threshold may be determined based on a benchmark interest rate value obtained from a public source. The debt item interest rate may be compared to the at least one interest rate threshold to produce an interest rate comparison. Using the interest rate comparison, a debt item classification may be generated or determined, where the debt item classification includes one of beneficial debt or adverse debt. A financial evaluation may be generated for the entity using the financial data and the debt item classification.

In some cases, the financial data may be classified into one of a plurality of data categories. One or more number of the following factors may then be determined using the financial data: a debt-to income factor, a total spending factor, one of a debt portfolio factor or a debt factor, a saving factor, a liquid reserves factor, and a payment history factor. A ratio or value may be determined for one or more of the factors, and a corresponding subsequent factor score generated based on the ratio or value. The one or more factor scores may then be combined to generate a financial health score.
