  • Patent number: 11458753
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a document of a series identical documents in content except for a respective identifier which identifies each document within the series, each identifier having at least a first indicium, the or each indicium defining a boundary; the method having the steps of: providing a substrate; applying a first background print, defining part of the boundary of an indicium receiving area; applying the respective identifier on the substrate, such that the first indicium is provided in the indicium receiving area; the first background print and the respective identifier being applied such that when the document is viewed in at least one of transmission and reflection the juxtaposition of the first background print and the first indicium is such that a keyline extending around a portion of the boundary of the first indicium is defined between the first indicium and the boundary of the indicium receiving area.

  • Patent number: 11083609
Abstract: A delivery system for delivering a prosthesis includes a catheter and a selectable tip kit having a plurality of tips. Each tip is uniquely shaped, i.e., has a particular shape different than the shape of all the other tips, and each tip is better suited for some procedures than for others. One of the tips is selected by the physician as being particularly well suited for the procedure to be performed. The selected tip is non-removably attached to the catheter and the remaining tips are discarded. This allows the delivery system to be customizable to each procedure, putting the physician in control of the case. This provides a case specific delivery system for the physicians to use and at a very low expense and with minimal additional engineering.

  • Patent number: 10433995
Abstract: A delivery system for delivering a prosthesis includes a housing, a sheath extending from within the housing, a first motor housed within the housing, a first battery coupled to the first motor, a second motor housed within the housing, a second battery coupled to the second motor, and an actuator accessible from an exterior of the housing. The actuator is coupled to the first and second batteries to selectively activate the first and second batteries to power the first and second motors, respectively. A first pulley is coupled to the first motor such that the first pulley rotates during operation of the first motor and a second pulley is coupled to the second motor such that the second pulley rotates during operation of the second motor. Actuation of the actuator causes at least one of the first and second motors to rotate, thereby causing at least one of the first and second pulleys to wind up a portion of a single continuous cable and retract the sheath.

  • Patent number: 10394924
Abstract: Deletion of synchronized web browsing history is enabled. A deletion filter record that specifies synchronized web browsing history to be deleted is received from a first client. The deletion filter record is stored in association with an identifier of the first client. A check-in message is received from a second client. Responsive to the check-in message, a determination is made that the stored deletion filter record is relevant to the second client. The stored deletion filter record is sent to the second client. Separately, a client's communications to a server are limited. A request is received to communicate with the server. A throttling policy is accessed. The throttling policy includes multiple ordered policy sections. A policy section indicates that all messages sent from the client to the server, up to the number of messages, must be separated by at least the time period.

  • Patent number: 9642696
Abstract: A dilatation or fatigue tester for a stent-graft prosthesis includes a sample holder having a compressible member that defines a chamber for receiving a stent-graft prosthesis in an expanded state, a bearing assembly disposed to contact and act on an exterior surface of the compressible member of the sample holder, and an actuation assembly operably coupled to the bearing assembly for rotating the bearing assembly relative to the sample holder. Rotation of the bearing assembly cyclically compresses the compressible member of the sample holder to thereby provide cyclical radial loading and unloading of a stent-graft prosthesis received therein for simulating physiologic loading conditions of a stent-graft prosthesis within a vasculature due to a beating heart.

  • Publication number: 20080215634
Abstract: Methods and systems for extracting related information from multiple two-dimensional files are provided. The method includes comparing data contained in at least one field of each record of a first file to data in a related field of each record of a second file. A record is created in a temporary file for each occurrence of a match. The records of the temporary file contain the data from the matching records of the two files. Particular data is selected from the records of the temporary file according to user-specified conditions. The selected data is provided as output. The temporary file is thereafter deleted. In another embodiment of the invention, particular data is selected from the original files prior to inclusion in the temporary file. Associated systems are also provided.
