  • Patent number: 11214471
Abstract: A pallet truck has a brake release mechanism. The pallet truck has a break release mechanism operably coupled to a brake for stopping rotation of a drive wheel. The brake release mechanism includes a brake release sensor and a profile feature that is detectable by the brake release sensor. The profile feature is fixedly coupled to a pivot shaft of a tiller arm of a tiller, and configured to rotate with the pivot shaft as the tiller arm is pivoted. The brake release sensor is positioned adjacent to the pivot shaft and configured to output a signal that causes the brake to release when the profile feature is detected.

Inventors: Mark Rusche, Ryan Giovannini, Mark McGee, Vivek Patel, Thomas A. Bacheller
  • Patent number: 10822011
Abstract: A pallet truck has a pressed and non-welded fork structure. The fork structure includes an elongate body portion and an outboard end portion integrally formed with the body portion. The body portion has a top wall and opposing sidewalls integrally formed with the top wall. The outboard end portion projects from the body portion and includes a tip sidewall defining a tip region for guiding entry of a fork assembly beneath a pallet.

  • Publication number: 20070275107
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the removal of aloin, emodin and/or isoemodin from aloe vera gel and a method for the production of aloe vera gel with less than 5 ppm of aloin, emodin and/or isoemodin by treatment with an oxidase, whereby a manual slicing of the aloe vera leaves and losses associated with conventional production methods are avoided.

  • Patent number: 6593376
Abstract: A process for preparing amphiphilic compounds having at least two hydrophilic and at least two hydrophobic groups by reacting an olefinic substrate having at least two double bonds with an organic hydroperoxide to form an oxirane ring, opening, the oxirane ring with an alcohol in the presence of a catalyst system comprising a molybdenum compound as a first catalyst component and a second catalyst component selected from the group consisting of boron trifluoride, alumina, 1,8-diazzabicyclo-(5.4.0)-undec-7-ene, 1,4-diazabicyclo-(2,2,2)-octane.
