Publication number: 20240019056Abstract: A clamp for sanitary pumps includes a tensioning assembly mounted on a ring. The tensioning assembly includes an adjustment assembly that interfaces with first and second brackets disposed at first and second ends of the ring. The adjustment assembly includes a nut that interfaces with a rod at a threaded interface. A head is disposed at an end of the rod opposite the nut and interfaces with the second bracket. The nut and rod are coaxial and an orientation of a common adjustment axis can be changed by pivoting the adjustment assembly relative to the first bracket, to maintain concentricity between the nut and rod.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2021Publication date: January 18, 2024Inventors: Mark S. Emery, Bradley H. Hines, Benjamin J. Paar, Kyle J. Treiber, Alex A. Doerr

Publication number: 20220362694Abstract: A filter arrangement for threadably securing to a filter head includes a housing having a surrounding wall defining an interior volume, an open mouth providing access to the interior volume and an end opposite of the open mouth. The surrounding wall has an exterior and an interior. A filter media construction is operably held within the interior volume. A sleeve, distinct from the housing, is secured to the exterior of the surrounding wall adjacent to the housing mouth and extending partially along the surrounding wall. The sleeve has an exterior and an interior. The exterior of the sleeve defines mounting threads constructed and arranged to removably mount with the filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. The interior of the sleeve is against the exterior of the surrounding wall. A first seal member is oriented against the sleeve to create a seal with a filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2022Publication date: November 17, 2022Inventors: Brian Tucker, Bradley S. Honermann, Gary H. Gift, Brent A. Gulsvig, Kent Mehlhop, John R. Hacker, Mark S. Emery

Patent number: 11391272Abstract: Mechanical tubular diaphragm pump features are presented herein. Such a tubular pump can include a resilient tube having a lumen and a pair of upstream and downstream check valves located along the same fluid pathway as the lumen. The tubular pump further includes a motorized reciprocating unit and a depressor configured to be moved by the motorized reciprocating unit to cyclically depress and release the resilient tube. The resilient tube forces fluid within the lumen downstream past the downstream check valve as the resilient tube is depressed by the depressor, and further pulls upstream fluid past the upstream check valve and into the lumen as the resilient tube returns upon release by the depressor. Multiple resilient tubes may be used in the same pump. The tube(s), depressor, and valves may be attached to a housing that is modularly removable from the motorized reciprocating unit.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2017Date of Patent: July 19, 2022Assignee: Graco Minnesota Inc.Inventors: Bradley H.
