  • Patent number: 10017959
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a lock arrangement where a cylinder type lock with a skirt can be correctly positioned and orientated in a door latch by the use of complementary profiles that enable insertion in only one position and thereby provide ease of use and confirmation that the lock has been correctly inserted and locked.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 2, 2017
Date of Patent: July 10, 2018

  • Publication number: 20170145716
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a door latch assembly for a roller door that has a plastic mounting plate and a latching plate and latch tongue positioned substantially within the mounting plate. The use of a plastic mounting plate avoids the problems of corrosion when two different metal surfaces are fixed to each other.

  • Patent number: 8259741
Abstract: Adaptive data processing systems and methods, comprising functions of preparing a primary input from a preliminary primary input, preparing a secondary input from a preliminary secondary input, and producing an output from the primary and secondary inputs, wherein preparing the secondary input is adaptive to contents of the preliminary primary input that is advanced in timing w.r.t. the primary input. Adaptive data processing techniques thus cause the secondary input to be in same frame phase as the primary input for producing the output, even though the secondary input is formed (in part) based on primary input contents, while such forming of the secondary input consumes multiple clock cycles. Moreover, the techniques enable preparing the primary input from the preliminary primary input while the preliminary primary input is used for preparing the secondary input, which, in turn, is used, along with the primary input, in producing the adaptive data processor output.

  • Publication number: 20070083628
Abstract: A network management system for securely managing network elements (NEs) over arbitrary multi-operator networks, via managing copies of NE configuration files on general purpose computers on a network operations center (NOC). The NEs operate automatically and dynamically, under non-dynamic control by the NE configuration files sent from the NOC. The NE hardware implements automated routines by which NE configuration files, including NE program, control and status memory contents, are transferred between NOC and NEs in a customized, secure fashion, while providing an abstraction for software such that the software at both the NOC computers and NEs can handle the NMS communications simply via using common standard file system and networking library functions. This is accomplished by a portal device that functions as a transparent converter between regular LAN file transfers between NOC computers and the portal, and between the customized, secured file transfer format used between the portal and NEs.

  • Publication number: 20040174891
Abstract: A self-optimizing digital communications network for transporting data among a set of nodes, such as routers, switches or terminal equipment, based on multi-source-node data transport channels, which have a framed carrier signal, and on which frame-slots are dynamically assigned among the individual source nodes of the channel using channel access control signaling in signal frame overhead. Per each such multi-source-node channel, each individual source node is identified with a unique channel access number called Local Node Identifier, and a control information field called Active Node Identifier carried in the overhead of each frame selects one of the channel source nodes to transmit data on the channel on the next frame period. With the present invention, all nodes along such channels access the channel synchronously using the same frame-timeslot phase, so that the channel can have a different active source node even for every new frame period, without any channel down-time.
