  • Publication number: 20220391930
Abstract: A system for aggregating crowd sound from remote viewers for a live event is disclosed, including a user computing device in operable connection with a user network. An application server in operable communication with the user network hosts an application system for providing a system for the aggregation of crowd sound. A user interface module provides access to the application system through the user computing device and is in operable communication with a reactions database and an events database. The reactions database stores user-selectable reactions, and the events database stores live events and virtual events. A reactions interface is operable via the user interface module to permit the selection of the reactions, which are transmitted to a sound aggregation engine to generate an aggregate crowd sound, which is transmitted to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20200003410
Abstract: A boiler system is provided comprising: a furnace adapted to receive a fuel to be burned to generate hot working gases; a fuel supply structure associated with the furnace for supplying fuel to the furnace; a superheater section associated with the furnace and positioned to receive energy in the form of heat from the hot working gases; and a controller. The superheater section may comprise a platen including a tube structure with an end portion and a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the tube structure end portion and generating a signal indicative of the temperature of the tube structure end portion. The controller may be coupled to the temperature sensor for receiving and monitoring the signal from the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9780967
Abstract: A black-box gateway device implemented in a vehicle and configured to interface with an engine computer and a plurality of wireless sensors installed in the vehicle, the gateway device can include a transceiver including input ports in communication with conductors that interface with the engine computer installed in an engine of the vehicle, radio frequency communications components comprising dual wireless functionality, including a first functionality for communicating wirelessly within the vehicle and a second functionality for communicating wirelessly over a cellular network disposed outside the vehicle, and one or more antennae that receive wireless signals from the radio frequency components. The transceiver can be configured to wirelessly receive sensor data from the wireless sensors disposed within the vehicle, the sensor data providing information associated with functionality of components of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9384597
Abstract: Currently vehicles typically include an engine computer that outputs diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) that are indicative of some fault condition in a vehicle. DTCs can tell a specific problem with a particular part such as that a cylinder in an engine is misfiring, but do not provide any indication as to the cause of the problem and do not propose any solutions for solving the problem. This disclosure advantageously describes systems that can analyze DTCs and other telematics data using crowdsourcing principles to recommend vehicle maintenance and other solutions.

  • Publication number: 20060197282
Abstract: The invention comprises a board game in which each player moves a playing piece along a continuous path, where the moves are determined by, for example, a roll of one or more dice. The path may be subdivided into spaces, some of which may require various actions by the players. These actions may result in the player accumulating an item. At the conclusion of the game, the tokens possessed by each player may be used to determine a possible fate, fortune, or destiny, for that player.
