  • Publication number: 20260168954
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode comprising a conductive element; and a coating layer formed on at least one surface of the conductive element, wherein the coating layer comprises a polymer having: (i) a conjugated system comprising at least two nitrogen atoms, and (ii) a hydrophobic region. The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such electrodes. The present invention further relates to a biosensor comprising such electrodes and to their use in the detection of chemical or biological analyte molecules.

  • Patent number: 9284599
Abstract: A method of testing for the presence of a preselected target nucleic acid, protein or antigen in a biological sample by exposing nucleic acids, proteins or antigens to a probe having a catalytic element and binding element. The catalytic element catalyses at least one reaction that results in a physical change such that identifiable elements provide an indication of the presence of the target.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 4, 2011
Date of Patent: March 15, 2016
    Assignee: Eluceda Limited

  • Patent number: 7972859
Abstract: A method of determining authenticity of an ingestible product purportedly from a batch of saccharide-marked ingestible product is provided. The ingestible product is a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical, for example. The method includes identifying a sample of the ingestible product to be tested; and testing the sample for a marked presence of the saccharide using a saccharide-specific binding protein. The ingestible product is not authentic when the testing demonstrates an unexpected change in the marked presence of the saccharide, and the ingestible product is authentic when the testing demonstrates no unexpected change in the marked presence of the saccharide.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 26, 2007
Date of Patent: July 5, 2011
    Assignee: Authentix, Inc.
