Abstract: An apparatus including a rigid frame structure, a first device for holding a first end of a first weightlifting bar, and a second device for holding a second end of a first weightlifting bar, opposite the first end of the weightlifting bar, is provided. The first device may include a first flexible device and a first retainer device. The second device may include a second flexible device and a second retainer device. The first and second flexible devices can be removably attached to the rigid frame structure. The apparatus provides a safe structure for working out with free weights.

Abstract: A drum hi hat apparatus including a first tube device, a second tube device, a third tube device, a rod, a support device, a pedal device, and a first adjusting device. The third tube device may have a first end which is configured to have a first cymbal placed on it. The rod may be configured to fit within the first, second, and third tube devices. The support device may be configured so that it is able to support the first tube device in an upright position. The first adjusting device may be configured to adjustably fix the rod to the second tube device, so that the rod extends out from the second tube device different amounts. The pedal device may be connected to the second tube device, which is adjustably fixed to the rod by a first adjusting device, so that the pedal device can pull down the second tube device and thereby pull down a second cymbal fixed to the rod to bring the second cymbal in contact with the first cymbal.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanism for selectively actuating two high hats and a bass drum of a drum set. Normally, a bass drum and high hat (cymbals) are actuated with separate pedals by a drummer, but with today's more complex music, it becomes more convenient for the drummer if a pair of high hats and a bass drum are actuated by one foot, and additionally, a second beater for the bass drum is actuated by the other foot. The structure of the invention provides a single pedal with associated three buttons for separate actuation of a first high hat, a second high hat and a bass drum (middle button). The three buttons, in simple terms, cause a rocker arm to tilt one way or the other by the actuation of the first and third buttons. The middle button places the rocker arm in a neutral or level position to actuate the bass drum.
