  • Patent number: 12252406
Abstract: Processes and apparatuses for recovering a high purity carbon dioxide stream. A first separation zone that may include a cryogenic fractionation column provides the high-purity CO2 stream. A vapor stream from the cryogenic fractionation column is passed to a second separation zone to separate the CO2 from the other components. The second separation zone may include a pressure swing adsorption unit or a solvent separation unit. The second separation zone provides a hydrogen enriched gas stream that may be used in a gas turbine. The second stream from the second separation zone includes carbon dioxide and, after a pressure increase in a compressor, may be recycled to the first separation zone.

  • Publication number: 20210256427
Abstract: Apparatus and methods related to applying machine learning to operating system kernels are disclosed. A kernel component of an operating system kernel executing on a computing device can perform a kernel operation. A machine-learning model executing on the computing device can receive operation-related information related to the kernel operation. The machine-learning model can determine an inference based on the operation-related information. The inference can be provided to the kernel component. The kernel component can adjust performance of the kernel operation based on the inference.

  • Patent number: 9211494
Abstract: A method of pretreating a natural gas stream for a floating liquefied natural gas plant is described. A natural gas feed stream is introduced into an amine absorption unit and a temperature swing adsorption unit located on a ship. The temperature swing adsorption unit has a dehydration cycle and a CO2 removal cycle. The amount of motion of the ship, or the level of CO2 in the natural gas feed stream with reduced contaminants, or both, is monitored. If the amount of motion of the ship or the level of CO2 in the natural gas feed stream with reduced contaminants exceeds a predetermined value, temperature swing adsorption unit is switched from the dehydration cycle to the CO2 removal cycle.

  • Publication number: 20060124529
Abstract: Assemblies for use in separation of a fluid feed. Assemblies typically include an elongated housing having a fluid feed stream inlet, a residual stream outlet and a permeate stream outlet. The housing contains at least one membrane separation element to form a membrane separation element linear string that at least in part defines a linear permeate passage tube. A permeate adapter is joined with an end of the linear permeate passage tube. The permeate adapter includes a receiving opening for receiving an end of the linear permeate passage tube. The adapter defines a permeate passageway extending therethrough and includes a plurality of permeate discharge openings disposed such as to place the receiving opening and the permeate discharge openings in fluid flow communication.
