  • Publication number: 20160247108
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with allocation of retail goods in a warehouse to warehouse transfer based on warehouse inventory data are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a request for allocation of a quantity of an item sold in multiple types, where the quantity of items is to be transferred from a source warehouse to a destination warehouse. An allocation method is selected from a plurality of allocation methods. Each allocation method specifies a subset of warehouse inventory data to be used to generate allocation ratios. The method includes reading the subset warehouse inventory data specified by the selected allocation method; generating allocation ratios by determining a contribution of each of the multiple types to the subset of warehouse inventory data; and generating allocation quantities for each respective type in the multiple types by applying the respective allocation ratios to the quantity.

  • Publication number: 20150142516
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with allocation of retail goods based on a size profile and/or a selected strategy are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a demand quantity for an item sold in multiple SKUs and accessing a size profile that specifies a relative contribution of a plurality of SKUs to overall sales of the items. Respective SKU demand contributions are determined for respective SKUs, based on the size profile. The method includes applying the respective SKU demand contributions to the demand quantity to calculate a plurality of SKU demands. In one embodiment, the method includes determining a selected substitution strategy. The items are allocated to fulfill the demand quantity for the item based on the plurality of SKU demands and the selected strategy.

  • Publication number: 20150058927
Abstract: A system authenticates a first session for a first application running on a workstation and a second session for a second application running on a second screen device. The system links the first application to the second application when the first session matches the second session. The system receives data indicating the linked first application was changed at the workstation and provides update data to the second application corresponding to the change in the linked workstation application, causing a display of the second screen device to update based on the update data.
