  • Patent number: 11542883
Abstract: Disclosed is a throttle quadrant arrangement utilizing a throttle lever mechanically connected to three Rotary Variable Differential Transformers (RVDTs). The signals from the RVDTs are monitored by a process where the processing component. More specifically, RVDT outputs are monitored by the engine control system to determine if they are outside a predetermined range of operability. If an RVDT is not operable, the engine control system establishes a thrust output using the signal from one of the functional two. If only one or none are within the range, the system moves on to a default mode.

  • Patent number: 11299256
Abstract: An aircraft flap lever is disclosed. The lever is included in a housing, and is supported on an axle. The lever also has a protruding pin that is biased upwards towards four optional radially-spaced notches. Each notch results in a different lever setting, and thus different flap position. The system includes a rocker mechanism that is pivotally mounted on the axle, and prevents skipping over notches when the lever is activated.

  • Patent number: 11199867
Abstract: Disclosed is a throttle quadrant arrangement having a throttle lever which is independently mechanically connected to different Rotary Variable Differential Transformers (RVDTs). A friction lever selectively creates and releases friction from the throttle lever to enable it to be selectively positioned. The system is configured such that the mechanical connections existing between the throttle lever and the RVDTs are shielded from the friction created by the friction lever.

  • Patent number: 11085391
Abstract: Disclosed is a throttle quadrant arrangement utilizing a single throttle lever. The single lever is independently mechanically connected to three Rotary Variable Differential Transformers (RVDTs). Failure points are engineered into the design such that when one of the mechanical jams, the mechanical connection to the other two RVDTs will not be compromised.
