  • Publication number: 20240136802
Abstract: The invention may be embodied in other forms than those specifically disclosed herein without departing from itMulti-kW-class blue (400-495 nm) fiber-delivered lasers and module configurations. In embodiments, the lasers propagate laser beams having beam parameter products of <5 mm*mrad, which are used in materials processing, welding and pumping a Raman laser. In an embodiment the laser system is an integration of fiber-coupled modules, which are in turn made up of submodules. An embodiment has sub-modules having a plurality of lensed blue semiconductor gain chips with low reflectivity front facets. These are locked in wavelength with a wavelength spread of <1 nm by using volume Bragg gratings in an external cavity configuration. An embodiment has modules having of a plurality of submodules, which are combined through wavelength multiplexing with a bandwidth of <10 nm, followed by polarization beam combining. The output of each module is fiber-coupled into a low NA fiber.

  • Patent number: 10415720
Abstract: An automatic fill system includes a tank, a transfer hose, and a valve assembly. The valve assembly has a first end having an outlet orifice configured to be received within the tank. The valve assembly also includes a second end configured to be connected in fluid communication with the transfer hose with the second end having an inlet orifice. The valve assembly also includes at least one fluid passageway between the inlet orifice and the outlet orifice, and a check valve coupled to a spring and a seal. The seal is configured to be slidably moveable within a piston chamber. The valve assembly further includes a heating element located within a heating element chamber and configured to heat the valve assembly. Finally, the valve assembly includes a jet level sensor with a sensor inlet and a sensor outlet. The jet level sensor is in fluid communication with the piston chamber.

  • Publication number: 20110184873
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a “location alert” feature of a real estate management application automatically identifies one or more of a real estate agent's clients that may be interested in receiving information related to a property that the agent is currently visiting. When the agent activates the location alert feature, a real estate service automatically captures information about the agent's current location, identifies potential clients that may be interested in the current location, and blasts out personalized alerts to the identified clients.

  • Publication number: 20110145159
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a real estate management application with a “property check-in” feature that enables the agent to automatically check-in at each property location. Subsequent to entering a given property, the agent selects the check-in feature in a mobile real estate service application, allowing the real estate service to determine a present geographic location of the agent. Using this, the service identifies an MLS location of the client and uses corresponding MLS information to update a tracking entry associated with the agent. In embodiments, the tracking entry enables the real estate service to maintain accurate expertise history for each agent.

  • Publication number: 20050194378
Abstract: A heater for heating a rigid fluid line or hose for freeze protection. The heater has a base made of an outer base layer, a middle base layer attached to the outer base layer; and an inner base layer attached to the middle base layer. The inner base layer can be uncured silicone (before assembly processing). A resistance wire is wound around an electrically non-conductive core and located on the inner base layer. The resistance wire can be a high gauge wire providing for a small moment of flexure. A cover covers the resistance wire and includes an inner cover layer covering said resistance wire. This inner cover layer can be uncured silicone (before assembly processing). A middle cover layer is attached to the inner cover layer, and an outer cover layer is attached to the inner cover layer. The outer cover layer protects the heater from abrasion.

  • Patent number: 6542838
Abstract: A system and method that configures a measurement device to a correct measurement range. The system and method implements an autoranging technique, preferably in software, that automatically determines a measurement range based on a measurement. Once an initial measurement is received, the initial measurement is compared with the current measurement range. If the current measurement range is the correct measurement range for the initial measurement, then the measurement device is already configured at the correct measurement range. However, if the current measurement range is found not to be the correct measurement range, then a new measurement range is determined based on the initial measurement. A new measurement is then taken using the new measurement range to ensure the new measurement range is the correct measurement range. The process repeats itself by comparing the new measurement with the new measurement range to see if the new measurement range, is the correct range.

  • Patent number: 6467686
Abstract: A system and method for managing the coupon redemption process electronically. A hand held device is used to store electronic coupons, which is then taken to retail stores for redemption of the electronic coupons during check-out. At check-out, the device downloads the electronic coupon data and the data is stored in the retail store's computer. The data from the retail store's computer is uploaded into coupon clearinghouse computer to enable retail stores to obtain redemption of the rebates owed to it from the manufacturers. The manufacturers can track coupons better and collect spending data about consumers. The method and device automates and improves coupon redemption process.
