  • Publication number: 20240082477
Abstract: A reduced-pressure system for treating a tissue site on a patient includes a distribution manifold that adheres to a tissue site to allow retention without external support. The distribution manifold includes a porous member and a tissue-fixation element. The tissue-fixation element maintains the porous member substantially adjacent to the tissue site while a sealing member is applied. In one instance, the tissue-fixation element is a soluble adhesive that partially covers either the tissue-facing side of the porous member or a tissue-facing side of a fluid-permeable substrate layer that is on the tissue-facing side of the porous member. Other systems, distributions manifolds, and methods are presented.

  • Publication number: 20180255711
Abstract: A green wall that is designed to be utilized in warmer climates, such as subtropical and tropical climates, by utilizing hexagonal shaped modules for housing soil and vegetation. These hexagonal shaped modules overlap one another on a vertical structure (e.g., trellis) in such a manner as to shade underneath modules. Furthermore, these hexagonal shaped modules are slanted downward to aid in soil volume and thermal reduction as well as to keep roots cool and maximize water availability. The green wall additionally includes a water delivery system integrated with the modules, where excess water from module saturation percolates to the module immediately below. In this manner, green walls can be successful in warmer climates with greater soil volume and thermal reduction.

  • Patent number: 9195869
Abstract: A photography database is configured to interface with at least one camera and includes a memory to store pictures of distinct bar codes and of theme park guests in the order in which they were taken so that the distinct bar codes separate the respective pictures of the theme park guests. A processor is coupled to the memory to retrieve stored pictures based on the distinct bar codes being presented by the theme park guests by detecting the stored distinct bar code matching the distinct bar code presented by the theme park guest, and detecting a stored next distinct bar code that does not match the distinct bar code presented by the theme park guest. All pictures between the matching and non-matching stored distinct bar codes are retrieved. At least one display is coupled to the photography database for displaying the retrieved pictures.
