  • Publication number: 20080016258
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are provided for a media platform. One method includes receiving DMA requests for connecting media data traffic to DMA slots of a DMA memory module. Available DMA slots are determined from a pool of available DMA slots and allocated for media data traffic. DMA slots are released to the pool of available DMA slots when a DMA slot is no longer being used. The method further includes using a TMC proxy to connect media data traffic between the DMA memory module and a DSP software module based on assigned DMA slots.

  • Publication number: 20050047556
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are provided for media platform simulation. A method for testing a media platform includes selecting a number of scalable variables provided with a testing routine. The scalable variables are operable to define one or more application characteristics for different service applications. The testing routine is executed implementing the scalable variables. A performance of various media platform resources is measured while executing the testing routine. The measured performance is analyzed and can be output as categorized performance report data.

  • Patent number: 4830934
Abstract: An improved mixture of alloy powders is provied for use in treating a preselected article alloy, for example, to repair or join multiple components of the article. The mixture has at least three distinct groups of alloy powders which together define a mixture composition range, with each alloy powder of the groups characterized by a composition and melting range different from the others and from the article alloy. In a preferred form, the mixture composition range comprises, by weight, 15-30% Cr, 1.5-6% W, 0.4-4% Al, 1-11% Ti, 1-6% Ta, up to 1.5% B, up to 0.5% Si, up to 0.2% Zr, up to 3% Mo, up to 0.3% Hf, up to 6% Cb, up to 2% Re, with the balance selected from Co and Ni along with incidental impurities.

  • Patent number: 4227927
Abstract: A powder metallurgy consolidation process in which the unconsolidated metal powder is placed in a sealable mold; the mold is evacuated and sealed; the mold is placed in an open top container larger than the mold; the space between the mold and container is filled with a free flowing refractory powder, preferably minus twenty mesh powder graphite; and the sealed mold and its contents are heated in the container to metal sintering temperatures without special atmospheres.
