    Abstract: In some embodiments, there is provided a transcranial magnetic stimulation system, which comprises an inductor configured to be disposed on, or proximate to, a surface of a head to generate a current that induces an electric field through electromagnetic induction, wherein the inductor includes a first terminal and a second terminal; at least one source capacitor coupled to at least the first terminal of the inductor; and a switch configured to at least: close to discharge the at least one source capacitor towards the inductor to enable the current in the inductor to increase towards a threshold current amount; and open, in response to the threshold current amount through the inductor being reached, wherein energy from the inductor is transferred to an energy sink path thereby resulting in a reversal in the current through the inductor and a voltage pulse to be generated across the inductor.

    Abstract: A portable therapeutic device and a method. The device includes an energy storage device coupled to a power supply. The energy storage device operates during a predetermined number of charge-discharge cycles. During a charge portion of each charge-discharge cycle, the energy storage device receives and stores energy from the power supply. During a discharge portion of each charge-discharge cycle, the energy storage device discharges stored energy. The device also includes a magnetic field generation device coupled to the energy storage device to repeatedly generate one or more magnetic field pulses during a predetermined period of time during the discharge portion of each charge-discharge cycle of the energy storage device. Each magnetic field pulse has a predetermined magnetic field strength. The generated magnetic field pulses cause generation of an electric field having a predetermined strength, thereby generating a desired therapeutic effect in a subject.

    Abstract: Multiple cellular phones are connected to a test component by separate RF connections. The test component may be implemented within a test station or as a discrete test module. Each cell phone is assigned a unique channel or channels to communicate with the test component at or near the same time as the other cellular phones. The test component includes a channelized test circuit for testing the multiple cellular phones. Each cell phone may receive one or more signals from the test circuit or transmit a signal or signals to the test circuit using a respective assigned channel or channels. One or more compensation values may be used to compensate for losses incurred in each signal transmitted over the RF connections.
