    Abstract: Systems and devices for treating water runoff. A water runoff treatment device includes a primary receptacle and a secondary receptacle separated by a barrier having at least one treatment port to permit water to pass from the primary receptacle to the secondary receptacle. A runoff water inlet on one side of the primary receptacle receives drain flow into the primary receptacle. At least one treatment tank having a treatment medium is mounted over a corresponding one of the treatment ports. The at least one treatment tank includes a treatment tank opening to receive water for treatment by the treatment medium. The treatment tank connects to the treatment port to pass treated water into the secondary receptacle. A drain port is formed in the secondary receptacle to pass treated water out and into a flow of treated water.

    Abstract: A process for producing a purified aqueous lithium (sulfate) solution including: processing a lithium-containing raw material to produce a crude aqueous solution containing lithium sulfate; contacting the crude solution with an organic medium, in an extraction step to produce a lithium-loaded organic medium and a raffinate; stripping said lithium-loaded organic medium by means of an aqueous acid stripping solution (e.g., sulfuric acid), to extract the lithium cations from the lithium-loaded medium, to produce: the purified aqueous lithium (sulfate) solution and a stripped organic medium; separating the purified lithium solution from the stripped organic medium; recycling the stripped organic medium to the extraction step, the organic medium including the stripped organic medium; subjecting the raffinate to electrolysis to produce: an alkali (sodium) hydroxide solution contaminated with lithium and a sulfuric acid stream; and recycling the alkali hydroxide and sulfuric acid streams for use within the process.

The rendered portion of the second version of the frame is compared to a corresponding rendered portion of the first version of the frame. When the comparison determines that the two portions of the two versions match, the frame is, e.g. used for rendering subsequent frames, but when the comparison determines the two portions of the two versions do not match, an error operation is performed.

    Abstract: We describe a system for determining relative changes in at least one parameter of cardiovascular function. The system provides an output showing a relative change of the parameters associated with cardiovascular function over a period of time. This relative change is between a time averaged mean of cardiovascular parameters (for each pulse within a series of pulses from an arterial blood pressure waveform data) and a baseline cardiovascular parameter value based on first and second pulses within the blood pressure waveform data. The relative change of the parameters over time is used to project a trend in the parameters associated with cardiovascular function.
