  • Publication number: 20260050000
Abstract: An automated sample registration system for registering samples disposed in sample containers or tubes, the system including: a sample container infeed store station having a holding location with a store array configured for storing the containers therein; a sample imager station, with a machine vision system having at least one of a line scanner and a camera, at least one of the line scanner and the camera being configured to generate a machine readable image of each container transported from the array with a transport device automatic grip, the container being held in the grip substantially continuously from container pick, at the store array, throughout imaging of the container by the machine vision system; wherein the grip holds the sample container substantially coincident, at least in part, with imaging of the container by the machine vision system so that generating the machine readable image is effected in one grip step.

  • Publication number: 20220228152
Abstract: The present disclosure provides antisense oligonucleotides, compositions, and methods that target a LIPA intron flanking exon 8, thereby modulating splicing of LIPA pre-mRNA to increase the level of LIPA mRNA molecules having exon 8, e.g., to provide a therapy for Wolman Disease or Cholesteryl Ester Storage Disease. The present disclosure provides an antisense oligonucleotide including a nucleobase sequence at least 70% complementary to a LIPA pre-mRNA target sequence in a 5?-flanking intron, a 3?-flanking intron, or a combination of exon 8 and the 5?-flanking or 3?-flanking intron.

  • Publication number: 20090187512
Abstract: An asset-backed investment instrument that increases deferred tax liabilities for an investor and, therefore, is attractive to any investor that benefits from deferred tax liabilities, such as certain insurance companies. Ownership of an asset underlying the investment instrument is transferred to an investing entity. The transferred asset is leased from the investing entity for a predetermined period. The lease may include a like-kind exchange feature to lengthen the predetermined period of the lease and to allow the accrued deferred tax liabilities to remain outstanding for a longer period of time. The lease may also include a Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause to remove the risk of a change in an estimated residual value from the investing entity.

  • Publication number: 20060044382
Abstract: A silver dispersion is obtained by reducing a silver compound in the presence of a polymeric dispersant of an ionic hydrophilic segments, such as methacrylic acid segments con and nonionic hydrophilic segments such as hydroxyl terminated polyethylene glycol segments. Aqueous inkjet inks may contain such dispersants and other common ingredients such as a humectant. The inks can be printed on ceramic substrates and sintered under heat to form solid, conductive patterns of silver.
