    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a spray nozzle comprising an annular head, a hollow neck, and a liquid inlet line disposed in the hollow neck. The annular head comprises a liquid inlet orifice, first and second external flow diversion surfaces, an interior circumferential channel, and an ejector. The ejector comprises a substantially smooth surface having a fixed width, the ejector extending from the point of contact with the interior circumferential channel such that in the extending direction, the substantially smooth surface increases in distance from the interior circumferential channel. Also disclosed herein is an apparatus comprising at least one such spray nozzle, and processes comprising using at least one such spray nozzle.
