    Abstract: A method for applying a label on an object includes the following steps: an activatable adhesive coating is applied on the first side of the label which forms the rear-side in the labeled state, at least in regions; the label is stored in a labeling magazine; the label is removed from the label magazine by means of a removal pallet which has an adhesive coating; the activatable adhesive coating is activated by an activation agent and subsequently the label is applied on the object with the first side.
