  • Publication number: 20240141983
Abstract: Systems are provided for a gearset for a vehicle transmission. In one example, a system includes a shaft comprising one or more lubricant holes oriented radially within the shaft, and one or more gears positioned radially around a central axis of the shaft. The system further includes a ring positioned circumferentially around the shaft. The ring is shaped with a radially extending portion and an axially extending portion, wherein the radially extending portion may direct lubricant flow from the radially oriented lubricant holes toward the axially extending portion, and the axially extending portion directs lubricant flow from the lubricant holes in an axial direction towards the one or more gears. The axially extending portion and radially extending portion form a cut in the ring.

  • Publication number: 20240131886
Abstract: A system and method for operation of an autonomous vehicle (AV) yard truck is provided. A processor facilitates autonomous movement of the AV yard truck, and connection to and disconnection from trailers. A plurality of sensors are interconnected with the processor that sense terrain/objects and assist in automatically connecting/disconnecting trailers. A server, interconnected, wirelessly with the processor, that tracks movement of the truck around and determines locations for trailer connection and disconnection. A door station unlatches/opens rear doors of the trailer when adjacent thereto, securing them in an opened position via clamps, etc. The system computes a height of the trailer, and/or if landing gear of the trailer is on the ground and interoperates with the fifth wheel to change height, and whether docking is safe, allowing a user to take manual control, and optimum charge time(s). Reversing sensors/safety, automated chocking, and intermodal container organization are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20220125238
Abstract: Solutions for leveling the surface of cookware are disclosed. In one embodiment, at least one detachable adjustable leg makes contact with the stove surface to tilt the cooking surface to make it level. The pressure on the stove surface can be increased or decreased, thereby increasing the tilt until the cooking surface is level. In another embodiment, at least one detachable adjustable leg is weighted at one end and the weighted end extends outward to make the cooking surface level. In yet another embodiment, the cookware comes with at least one adjustable leg permanently attached. In all cases, multiple adjustable legs can be used to increase the stability and accuracy. • Publication number: 20160115487
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for incorporating at least one non-natural amino acid into a polypeptide using a cell-free protein synthesis which includes a cell-free extract and is deficient in endogenous tRNA. The methods include providing the synthesis system with at least one non-natural amino acid, at least one orthogonal tRNA and one orthogonal aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase which aminoacylates the corresponding orthogonal tRNA with the non-natural amino acid. The methods may also include removing the endogenous tRNA in the cell-free protein synthesis system by treating the synthesis system with a ribonuclease to degrade the endogenous tRNA and providing the synthesis system with a minimal set of tRNAs for one or more natural amino acids and the corresponding amino-acyl tRNA synthetases, such that the lack of some tRNA will enable unique codons to encode for non-natural amino acid incorporation with no or a minimal amount of completion from the tRNA present.
