  • Patent number: 11917069
Abstract: Secure user authentication using a OTP involve pre-storing an application on a first device for generating a valid OTP for the user responsive to receiving entry of a valid PIN, no part of the valid PIN is stored on the first device and pre-storing on a back-end server the valid PIN and a valid shared secret for the user. Upon receiving entry of a purported PIN, a purported shared secret is dynamically synthesized on the first device by the application based on the purported PIN and a purported OTP is generated on the first device. When entry of the purported OTP is received by the server in an attempt to log on the server from a second device, the server cryptographically calculates a window of OTPs, and logs on to the server from the second device is allowed if the calculated window of OTPs corresponds to the received OTP.

  • Publication number: 20230421446
Abstract: A virtual device management system for creating and implementing virtual devices and associated methods are provided herein. The system presents to a user a list of devices available for combining to create the virtual device. When the system receives from the user a selection of two or more devices that the user wishes to combine to create the virtual device, the system presents to the user a list of available functions that can be performed by the virtual device based on the selected devices. The system then receives from the user a selection of one or more functions and configures the virtual device to perform the selected functions. The system can also be configured to present, via a user interface via a mobile application running on a user device, a plurality of virtual devices with predetermined functionalities that are created by detecting the various connected devices within an IoT network.

  • Patent number: 10384040
Abstract: A sump port drain adapter apparatus is disclosed which provides a small, lightweight vessel to capture and collect gastric reflux or stomach contents exiting the smaller lumen, or sump line, of a double lumen nasogastric tube while providing airflow to the sump line to prevent the nasogastric tube from adhering to the stomach lining. The apparatus disclosed prevents clogging in the sump line, unnecessary patient gown and bedding changes, patient skin breakdown and decreases exposure to potentially infectious material for both the patient and healthcare workers.

  • Patent number: 7017908
Abstract: A matching card game is provided. The object of the game is the speed with which a player can dispose of his cards before his opponent. The card game requires each player to react to card indicia with speed and keen sensitivity in order to facilitate speedy disposal of one's cards. The card game includes a card deck having base cards and variety cards which are embellished in various colors and indicia, as well as commands or actions such as pick 1 and jump 1. A die marked with indicia is utilized for choosing a dealer as well as for collecting the letters “S” “P” “E” “E” “D” by each round winner for determining ultimate game card winner.

  • Patent number: 6976400
Abstract: A method of damping a semiconductor wafer handling arm by attaching a spring and a mass coupled to the spring to form a mass spring system that is tuned to vibrate at a structural resonant frequency of the vibrating wafer handling arm. The spring has temperature insensitive spring characteristics and the mass and spring are constructed of materials that do not outgas or produce contaminants in a semiconductor processing environment. The mass spring system is preferably a cantilever beam spring connected to a high response point on the vibrating arm and oriented to vibrate in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the wafer. The mass is slidably adjustable along the length of the cantilever beam spring to adjust the resonant frequency. Vibration damping of the wafer handling arm is accomplished by the transfer of kinetic energy from the vibrating wafer handling arm to the mass spring system.
