  • Publication number: 20260142793
Abstract: A method may include sending a first message to an additional processing circuitry, the first message including a first time associated with a transmission of a second message; and sending the second message to the additional processing circuitry. The method may involve determining a second time associated with a reception of a loop-back message and a first loop-back timing delay based on the first and second times. The method may involve receiving a third message from the second control circuitry, the third message having a third time associated with a transmission of a fourth message. The method may determine a fourth time associated with a reception of the fourth message, the fourth message including a fifth time. The method may receive a second loop-back timing delay associated with the additional processing circuitry from the additional processing circuitry and determine an absolute time synchronization delay based on the times and delays.

  • Publication number: 20260140532
Abstract: A method may include sending, via a processing system, an indication to control circuitry of a tool that may perform an operation within a borehole. The indication may correspond to a synchronization operation being performed, such that the control circuitry may operate a switch in response to receiving the indication. The switch may connect and disconnect an inductor from a circuit associated with the tool and send a timing signal to the control circuitry after the switch changes states. The control circuitry may perform a synchronization operation based on the timing signal.

  • Publication number: 20260140533
Abstract: A method may include sending a first message that includes a first transmission time of a second message from the processing circuitry to additional processing circuitry, a second time associated with a reception of a loop-back message associated with the second message. The method may include receiving a third message including a third time of a transmission of a fourth message from the additional processing circuitry to the processing circuitry and determining a fourth time of a reception of the fourth message and a fifth time associated with a transmission of the third message. The method may determine an asynchronous delay between the first control circuitry and the second control circuitry based on a cross-component measurement between a voltage signal and a current signal, and determining an absolute time synchronization delay between the processing circuitry and the additional processing circuitry based on the times, different delays, and the asynchronous delay.
