  • Publication number: 20070214603
Abstract: A hinge assembly containing a receiver member having a corrugated inner surface and a locking pin for being pivotally disposed within the receiver portion about an axis. The locking pin and receiver member have complementary corrugated engaging surfaces that allow the hinge to provide support for a cantilevered structure when the pin and receiver are engaged. When the complimentary pin and receiver are disengaged, the pin member can be incrementally rotated so as to allow the cantilevered structure to be positioned in a different position or orientation.

  • Publication number: 20070137849
Abstract: A heatsink assembly made of multiple heatsink sections to remove more heat than conventional heatsinks. The heatsink section's length is based upon the point at which the flow becomes steady. The fins and air channels of adjacent heatsink sections are arranged so that air channels align with the fins of the corresponding adjacent heatsink section. This allows for the heatsink section to begin boundary layer growth over the fins again.

  • Publication number: 20070115616
Abstract: An assembly for latching together electrical components and the like is disclosed. In some embodiments, the assembly includes a latching mechanism that is used to latch together an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system chassis having at least one electrical connector to electrically connect to at least one modular unit. In some embodiments, the latch mechanism is configured to draw one of said at least one modular unit laterally in a side-to-side direction against said support chassis from an unlatched position in which said at least one electrical connector of said support chassis and said at least one corresponding electrical connector of said one of said at least one modular units are disengaged to a latched position in which said at least one electrical connector of said support chassis and said at least one corresponding electrical connector of said one of said at least one modular units are engaged.

  • Publication number: 20050099779
Abstract: A heatsink is provided for cooling power components on a printed circuit board. The heatsink includes a slot so that it is placed over the power device to be cooled. An activating member may be inserted from the opposite side of the printed circuit board and fastened into another slot running parallel to the slot containing the power device. The insertion of the activating member causes the wall between the device and the activating member to flex and clamp the power device in the slot.
