Abstract: A method and system for testing the performance of one or more cells in a wireless communication network using a mobile device is provided. The system and method includes determining cell information relating to the cell to be tested; determining one or more pre-test criteria and one or more post-test criteria based on the cell information; then determining whether the one or more pre-test criteria are satisfied. If one or more of the pre-test criteria are satisfied, performance of the cell is tested via the mobile device by measuring data related to the one or more pre-test criteria, and determining whether the one or more post-test criteria are satisfied.
