  • Patent number: 11952124
Abstract: An aircraft tray table may include a body with a defined interior cavity, a personal electronic device support, and a magnification lens. The personal electronic device support may be configured to hold a personal electronic device when the personal electronic device support is in a support deployed position. The magnification lens may be configured to fit within the interior cavity when the magnification lens is in a lens stowed position. The magnification lens may include a lens configured to magnify content displayed on the personal electronic device held by the personal electronic device support when the magnification lens is in a lens deployed position. The personal electronic device support may be parallel to the magnification lens when the personal electronic device is in the support deployed position and the magnification lens is in the lens deployed position.

  • Publication number: 20240001252
Abstract: An electrically conducting toy building block comprising: a body having a top surface and a bottom surface, and a plurality of evenly spaced connector studs projecting from the top surface, and an internal cavity that is open to the bottom surface and is sized to accommodate the top surface of another block and frictionally engage the connector studs of said other block to enable multiple blocks to be connected. The connectors studs comprise electrically non-conductive studs and electrically conductive studs. The electrically conductive connector studs comprise a top portion having external dimensions matching the non-electrically conducting stud, and an elongate telescoping member that extends downward from the top portion into the cavity. The telescoping member comprises an outer barrel and an inner plunger slidably received in the barrel, the plunger including a stop to prevent complete withdrawal of the plunger from the barrel, and the plunger being biased towards being extended from the barrel.

  • Publication number: 20200024628
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel endoglycoceramidase whose hydrolytic activity has been substantially reduced or eliminated, such that the enzyme is useful for synthesis of glycolipids from a monosaccharide or oligosaccharide and a ceramide. More specifically, the endoglycoceramidase is a mutant version of a naturally occurring endoglycoceramidase, preferably comprising a mutation within the active site or the nucleophilic site of the enzyme and more preferably comprising a substitution mutation of the Glu residue within the active site or the nucleophilic site. Also disclosed are a method for generating the mutant endoglycoceramidase and a method for enzymatically synthesizing glycolipids using this mutant enzyme.

  • Patent number: 10430037
Abstract: A method of controlling webpage behaviour on a web enabled device 3 in order to assist in, for example, collection of monitoring information, preserving session context, and improving security. The method includes monitoring a user interaction with a webpage (step 203), using a client side module 31 at the web enabled device 3, and determining whether predetermined conditions are satisfied (step 204). Where the predetermined conditions are satisfied the further steps below are carried out: capturing details concerning an intended result of said user interaction (step 205), using the client side module; at least temporarily preventing occurrence of the intended result of said user interaction using the client side module (step 206); carrying out additional processing (step 207) using the client side module; determining a controlled result (step 208), using the client side module, in dependence on said intended result and the additional processing; and causing the controlled result to occur (step 209).

  • Publication number: 20190133887
Abstract: The Rx Secure medication dispenser is the only product of its kind that features an integrated alarm system which will automatically emit an audible sound along with flashing lights in attempt to notify the user of medication that needs to be taken; any attempts to tamper with or open the device will result in an alert that will be provided to their doctor or caregiver immediately. The Rx Secure is uniquely designed to be manufactured with Plexiglas and metal materials for maximum durability and is intended to be available with a battery back-up as an added safeguard to provide optimal security and to prevent abuse.

  • Patent number: 8898309
Abstract: A method and apparatus for setting cookies on client devices 6, in particular for allowing maintenance of cross domain session continuity. A server 5 is provided for extracting a session ID from a first party cookie in the domain of the server 5 which is included in a HTTP request generated by a page 8 from a different domain active in a browser 7. Code is returned by the server 5 to that page 8 to cause it to generate a first party cookie in its domain which includes the extracted session ID.

  • Publication number: 20140047866
Abstract: A system and method for exhibiting granular material in an ornamental assembly. The sand represents a tangible embodiment of memories and emotional ties to a specific region. A transparent, flexible inner chamber holds the sand, and joins at two ends via a mating portion and a fastener. A similarly transparent, flexible outer portion encloses and contours to the shape of the inner chamber.
